A legend was born in '56
he dazzled the stands with all his tricks,
a lad from glasgow, a pleasure to meet,
but Tommy did all the talking with his feet.
A family man, so treasured, so deared,
this is the time every Celtic fan feared.
To live for celtic was always his dream
and now he has returned to big Jock Stein.
Tommy we love you, down to every football fan.
