| I'm going to change my mind here and give Maloney the benefit of the doubt and suggest rather than pissing all over Celtic, he was a wee bit naive and was badly advised to go to Aston Villa.
He should have known better though. O'Neil never gave him a chance at CP, it was GS who gave him the real breaks.
As far as the Maloney situation and the Hun/Davis situation go, I dont think you can compare them like for like.
Maloney has proved himself over a full season and a half at CP, so we know there will be a pay off for Celtic if indeed he does come back.
Davis is still a bit of a gamble. #1 On loan is different from being 'expected' to do a job as a first choice player #2 He really is no great shakes as a player and for 3m??? #3 Smith needs this one to work as he is a direct replacement for the kebab.
I have had a wee look over the shoulder at the huns summer transfers and I'm really pleased. Miller? Their defence will struggle, no doubts about it.
