Thread: Anybody going to Madrid?

Just wanting to know where the main meeting place will be for the fans cos I need to try n get a ticket.

Any information would be appreciated cheers.

I'm still remaining hopefuly of getting there. Not got a clue on meeting places though. I'd hazard a guess at saying most will be hanging about the square though, as is always the case.

Dont know for certain if going yet, depends a lot on new baby, he has a few hospital visits planed so will wait till day before game to decide.
Im sure there will be tickets available up there and any taxi driver will tell you where we are all meeting.?

Heard about a great irish bar in the centre of the city called Oneills, apparently they have a celtic supporters club and their own football team as well called oneills celtic

I hate the idea of going abroad somewhere only to sit in an Irish/Scotch bar all day. Away experience different places, man. I've sat in some Irish bars but I've also had a lot more fun sitting in dingy wee local bars - one of the funniest nights I've had was sitting in some complete dive down Las Ramblas with a bunch of Turks*.

*One of which was trying to shag my brother.

Actually now that I think of it, theres an ONeills in Seville as well...that faithful day way back!!! Anyway great craic, beer, fun and nice girls so I´ll definitely be paying a visit to their spot in Madrid...before and after we kick atletico madrid ass!!!
