It's safe to say our shot on goal didn't come from Samaras and wasn't a penalty.

These things do happen, look at the tommy burns years against the huns, we played them off the park and pumped them game after game and they would steal the points with a goal on the break.
Keep it tight, dont get too deep and we have a chance, anyone watch barca last night, the played with Milan off the park and could have scored 5 or 6 but milan pinched a draw last minute.

Weve never learned how to get a result " dirty" but the only way we can hope now to ever progress in europe is by playing like that away from home.
And if steal a couple of draws away in this group we might just do enough at home to progress, or at least show we are getting back to a point where we can compete again.

The difference is they were very organised and had a system that they played on a regular basis. On top of that they had a crafty as fuck manager.

We have a European inexperienced team and manager who would probably be extatic not to conceed in the first 6 minutes. If we can't do it against Braga, Utrecht or Sion (who were gutter) then I wont hold out much hope against Athletico Madrid.
