Now this has been started, we will have this problem at most away grounds in scotland, different things offend different people and fans throughout scotland who dont support celtic are unlikely to be "celtic minded" people, this along with the song sheet our fans have at away games will 100% result in complaints every week.
Until the courts in scotland come out and say that the chants/songs are not sectarian/religious/offensive etc. then it will be a free for all against the celtic support.
Celtic jerseys are not for second best; they don’t shrink to fit inferior players”

Maybe I'm getting old or it could be the rice wine! But can someone explain to me how chants and add-ons mentioning/glorifying the IRA can ever be anything but offensive?
The whole sectarian/political argument is pathetic, singing about a shower of indiscriminate, murdering terrorists SHOULD be offensive to everyone!
I don't think anyone is claiming it wont be offensive to people*. The main argument is that it isn't actually illegal.
*Likely less than an orange walk though.
Look near every football chant out there is offensive to someone in some way.
I just don't understand why they investigate now when the same chants have been goin for years.
Does anyone no what chant it is there investigating?
that depends what you mean by IRA , sure did auld lizzie not lay a wreath at a memorial for the IRA not a few short months ago ?
one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter
still has no place in football , but like i said , no one should be criminalised for it unless it breaks the law
Songs about the irish war of independence are sung by irish communities all over the world. Yet there's only a problem with it in anti sectarian crusader alex salmond's best wee country in the world. Funny that.
Next time you hear the star spangled banner remember to boo it- that's about fighting the brits as well. Why's that ok?
