It's hard to defend him but if you can say anything perhaps he thought any deflection from him would have taken it away from Forster. Still should have blocked it though.

I think if he had got his head to it would have took the ball over forster! I think maybe he thought he heard a shout from forster but i thought we were good an deserved a point we were not totally outclassed in this game and although we probs are out we havent disgraced ourselves in this group and if we play like we did last night on sunday we could fuck you united!

A few short weeks ago lenny's job was hanging by a thread because we were getting beat by the likes of st Johnstone , now we're upset about getting beat by a single goal to atletico madrid ,
I thought we did well tonight against a good team ,
if one of our early chances went in it would have been a different game ,
after they scored it knocked the wind out us and we never really got going again
I'm disappointed we didn't win , but we didn't get shown up like I thought we might

Continuing prob over past two seasons...we take the petted lip attitude too easy...and in doing so the players let THEMSELVES down as well as us.

Negative:
1/ Kayal is a dick. If that was loovens nobody would even be atempting to justify it
2/ Forster is slooooooow as fuck
3/ Ki was poor
4/ Ledley getting injured

Positive
1/ we were playing a great team and did well against them 1-0 isn't a bad result, we were unlucky not to get a point.
2/ The first 30 mins was the Samaras show and a good shop window
3/ We're still in with a chance going into the last game of a very hard group
4/ Loovens was decent
5/ We caused a quality team far better than anything in the SPL a lot of problems

Loovens took a shot to the chest later in the game but what bothers me is every one has overlooked what a great game he had after that.

The more positive could be that we might have finally found a position that sammy can work in!
