Evening Times really pushing the sean st. ledger story tonight.
Sorry, forum, i know he's irish ( or at least his grandfather was ) but it is looking likely.![]()
Get a permanent marker pen and scribble all over Lee Naylors arms and I bet Sunderland wont can tell the difference.
Never heard of him. If it's a low fee then I'm all for bringing in a young starlet though.
Would take him. Definitely an improvement on what we have already.
I have been mulling over the point that Strachan sent him back from his spell at Boro - he didnt fancy him as a player
Really unsure if this means that he is exceptionally shite and not even Strachan would sign him
Or - he is a fuckin superstar and Strachan wouldnt know a player if he was shaggin him up the arse
According to sources around parkhead, in light of Jermaine beckford handing in a transfer request it seems Tony Mowbray is weighing up a move for the leeds hitman but it looks like leeds will only let him go for a hefty price which would be risky considering he is only proven at a lower level.
I thought Beckford was going to Newcastle - that was the word today about the place - tbh - if given the choice of us or Newcastle I would think he will choose them - they look like going straight back up to the EPL
Just a rumour and to be honest I wouldn't pay over the odds for the guy. Especially when we could attract a much better proven goalscorer
