So much for the Evening Times story about Rangers signing Nigel Quashie, he's just signed for West Ham for ?1.5M.

Stokes dad has said the doors still open at Celtic, he's not signed for Sunderland yet, and if Celtic pay him what he's asking for it's a done deal. The wee guy's deluded. Also Scott Brown has declared Celtic to be his preferred destination in an interview he also said Thompson wouldn't even consider a move to Rangers, so it looks like we are fav to sign the Hibs duo.
Celtic would have made him the highest earning teenager in Scottish football, how much money does the guy need. The mega money could come in three years time when he's 21 and due a renewal or get his move to the premiership. I hope Celtic stick to their guns here and don't increase the offer. AS for Brown and Thompson, we have a combined offer of ?4M on the table as we speak.
I still dont think Hibs will sell
Remember that you are a Celtic fan and consequently you have won first prize in the lottery of life.
I'm impressed that Celtic have swooped in for Thompson and Brown, and also hope that they wont be budged on the Stokes area. He's an 18 year old boy, he shouldn't be moaning about getting paid less than ?10,000 a week. He should be wanting to go to a club as big as Celtic, and get his head down and show us what he can do. Then, once he's done that, and earned it, should he be wondering where his big wage is.
Peter Grant's Norwich City are enquiring about David Marshall .
Evening Times running with a story that Celtic are ready to offer Geoff Horsfield a short-term contract. The striker is 33-years-old and has just completed an unhappy loan spell at Leeds. Strachan thinks he has the strenght and experience to act as ideal back-up for JVoH.
