Ask Alex Ferguson...he might say different....albeit nobody will match Henke ...no matter who we sign...anyway we have lost this argument as fans, as Wgs played until he was 40 ,so shouts us down every time we mention the age of a player

Strachan has dismissed this one saying Spurs wouldn't let a player like Keane leave on loan. So did we make an approach and get a knock-back? What's the chance of a transfer? JVoH and Keane - that would be a bloody great strike force.

Heard today that Celtic were interested in Italian striker Vincenzo Montella who recently joined Fulham on loan from Roma. An approach was made but we didn't get as far as talking to the player because the deal with Fulham had been agreed. 181 goals from 330 games is an impressive scoring record in Italian football. At 32yrs he may be on his last legs but would surely have done a job in the SPL.

Can't see the Cassano one myself, unless on loan, but he'd be a cracking addition.

Montella was doing the rounds last month, but i havent got much wind of it yet.
