I never said DD should put all his money into the club, I have questioned WHY he wishes to be the majority shareholder when his contribution, in my opinion is not good enough for our club. I have said that if I was in his position then I would heavily invest into the club, that was all I said. I do find it hard to work out why a billionaire is sitting on our clubs board of directors and we are crying out for players but we can't compete in the 'real' transfer market, we have to wait and be content to sign the scraps after the big clubs have had their pickings. If he wishes to sit back and watch us go backwards then who am I to stop him.

He's already the MAJORITY shareholder so would it make a difference? I will say again I am not interested in DD pumping his money into the club I would rather we lived within our means and I am also in favour of supporter representation sitting on the board. We do need to come up with a plan of action to stop the club from sliding backwards, don't think anyone would dispute that as a club we have been on a downward spiral the last few seasons, is DD the man to come up with the solutions? So far the answer is NO. I will credit the board with the good guardianship of the club, we are in good shape when you compare us with other clubs of a similar standing, but the frustrating thing for me is having to come to terms with Celtic being small fry in the competitive market place, teams are progressing in every other country while we are stuck in the diddy league, I never thought we would ever be out muscled by Hull but seems like that is inevitable also.
I heard a while back that there were restrictions to what he could do financially for the club, but have failed to come across exactly what the restrictions are. I have also watched an interview with DD in which he said that Celtic FC must live within their means, so it would not benefit the club if he was pumping endless amounts of money in because the club would be unable to sustain this level. Things need to be re prioritised at CP anyhow, 2 points of concern for me, 1. The current first team is rank rotten and requires investment 2. The official communication tool between Club and supporter, The official web site is completely uninspiring, seems to me that the supporters are being taken for granted.
Celtic are supposedly after a defensive midfielder called Stanislav Angelov and if we don't get they guy from Nancy he would be the next target. He is a 31 year old bulgarian international I've not seen much of him but he sounds an alright safety net if we don't get N'Guemo
