Thread: Over And Over The Celtic Supporting UNIT

Here's the score. Celtic Jock Stein Upper where i have sat this season is suffering from minimal singing and general lack of supporting of the club.We have went there and back regarding this idea but by speaking to many fans we have decided to try and form a band of fans who want to sing in this area.We are not a group as such but more what we would call a supporting unit.


Our aim is to congregate at the back of the below sections, 438 & 439 (see pic right) for the remainder of this season and then to try secure a re-alocation there next season(we are currently 8 rows from the back.

• We hope to have a new flag soon made to fly along with The Tommy Burns Celtic To The Core Flag.Even if we could encourage one fan to sing this is a result.We think the other groups are doing a fantastic job and we encourage you to get involved with any of them see links on this page for there websites.

We will have a small display at this weekends Cup Final at Hampden and i will talk abit more about it on Mondays Show.(Remember you can listen to the show live on this page)

I am in block 440 and back your effort for singing and supporting the team but please tell me you wont have a bugger banging a drum all through the game as I my have to stick my crutches up his arse.

Think this is a good idea.

If enough people contacted Celtic about this a section of the stand could be set aside for fans who want to sing at games. IMO this would be good for all fans as those who want to sing at games have a section where they can do this and those that don't can sit elsewhere in the stadium.

Thought the club were already trying to establish this with the Jungle Bhoys or whatever it is they're called.

Jungle Bhoys and Green Brigade already have similar things in place, it's a good idea that more are looking to get involved though.

problem is celtic fc are trying to stop green brigade and jungle bhoys displying there banners club stewerds and police have had briefing on from club no more fun at football games

I find that hard to belive as Celtic let both into the ground days before a game to set up displays,and during the close season all the flags and banners are displayed around the ground.
