How much has our defence changed from last season?

The defence that played shockingly, leaking a least a couple of goals per game it seemed?

We have Fox.

He may have recovered somewhat with this Indian Summer his play has succumbed to, but overall he has been shite if you are weighing up the scales. McManus has similarly been awful.

Naylor has of course trumped both of these turkeys and needed to be the number one priority of the manager.

Nonetheless, I am disheartened by our failure to sign a quality leader in the centre of defence. This stems back as far as I can remember. Mowbray, Strachan, O'Neil all failed on this score.

That was two seasons ago dude - the bhoy has come good and him and loovens together look like a good pairing.
