Thread: Massimo Donati

Hi, I'm italian and i'm a Celtic fan, obviously.
We know that Massimo Donati moved to Bari at the end of the August, and for me it was a pity.
He was the only one bhoy capable of shooting from long distance. He has passage and vision. For me, this Celtic, the Celtic tha we are seeing in this period, needs Donati. We haven't midfielders with the same attributes.
With Bari, Donati is one of the best midfielder here in Serie A actually (Bari is playing very well in this period), and this is for me a very big regret.

He was impressing me in pre season and then we got rid of him. He didn't really shine under Strachan, but deserved at least until January with the new manager. He's certainly no worse than some of the players who are in their now.

It was about balancing the books.

The bloke couldn't tackle in anyhow. Thanks for the sniper memories!

Would have reverted back to his old self soon enough under Mowbray. Played for his transfer away and got it.

Donati just could not play the scottish 'style' of football.
Dunno what that says about us or him.

Well, it says that he couldn't adapt to Scottish football. That's pretty much it.
