how long do you give a manager??????

I am not calling for the managers head, ( not just yet ) and I know its early (ish) days but how long do you give a new manager at celtic?
its obvious the team has gone backwards, if that was possible, and considering the level of budget available for new players we will be looking at a couple of 1 or 2 million pound players and a few freedom of contracts.
You have to ask can Mowbary turn it around, can he add 4 or 5 low cost players to the teams he is putting out just now and produce a decent attractive team.
I really dont think so, and as for the arguement that Fortune is fundamental to his ¨style¨ and formation, what if he gets injured again, do we just plod away hoping for something to happen each time we take to the park?
Is there a plan B. or is there any plan at all, its like watching kids in the school playground all chasing the one ball and just running back and forth up and down the pitch.
Its too easy to blame Strachan, its Mowbary picking the team, selecting the tactics, making the substitutions and its him and only him responsible for what happens on the park.
Strachan was crucified for better displays and even now is getting blamed for Mowbary´s bad selections and non existing tactics.
The squad is short of quality, no doubt, but any manager in Scotland would swap squads with us tomorrow, we threw away the spl and season and should have won with the players we had, Mowbary has added four players to it and it has still went backwards.

It's the sign of things to come.
Forget Barca, AC, Man U, Liverpool, the glory days are long gone.
SPL will become on a par with the LOI.
    No money, no players.

    Sad but true.

Mowbray should be given a year or two minimum. He does have his hands tied due to a lack of cash which makes it difficult to move on quite as many players as he'd like. Strachan had the same problem but had a few years to bin Caldwell and McManus as the defensive core. They've been bombscare material for some time now.

I would give him till yesterday, and the reason why is because it wont get any better.
Currently Mowbray is under a quandary with the squad he has, and come January very little will change if anything, past history by the PRUDENT FRUGAL GANG has proven that.

In being sensible, he needs till the end of the season, I'm still telling myself he can be the man for the job and part of me does believe that. I have to admit though some of his comments just verge on the stupifying.

If he wins the league, he'll get another season. Only way he can do this though is to cash in the supposed prize assets, Brown, McDonald, McGeady etc.

Get rid of the Scots bar Robson. I wouldn't let the likes of McGinn near the team either.
