Thread: Stein Vs Smith

Today 1 of ma rangers fan friends compared walter smith to jock stein saying they both won 9 in a row and walter smith has won as many old firm games as him. But if my history is correct walter smith never won all 9 of the championships. Also theres a wee trophy in the celtic dressing room that "Uncle Walter" will never capture ur thoughts?

At this time Smith is the best in the SPL but to compare him to Jock is like comparing Boyd to Henrik.

I remember div tried a debate about this a couple of months ago, and it was a pisstake.
Sounness was boss for at least one and a half of smith's 9 in a row, as i recall, and stein didn't have a millionaire upstairs prepared to drive the club to bankruptcy in pursuit of a deluded dream.

tough one, but the chrisie lad probably just shades it, hes reached larssons totals with 6 or 7 seasons to spare.
It just has to be boyd, and if we are honest we all know larson was overated and although decent he was made to look good because he was in a great team, Boyd on the other hand has scored his goals with killie and as just about every celtic fan goes out of their way to tell you ¨the worst rangers team in history¨ .
Credit where its due, must be boyd, fukin goal machine.
