If you think lennon will do the biz

Personally i think he may win some silverware but long term fans will ask for something more.

He wasn't my first choice but it was obvoius it was going to happen


Lets here everyone's views now on what lennon will do so we know a season or two down the road who was with him and who wanted a manager with experince so if the wheels fall off or he wins the champions league no **** can pretend they wanted or didn't want him.

Can admin throw/sticky this somewhere (maybe the hall of fame) so it can be used in a tribunal down the road once people have finished posting

And for any **** that starts to say i'm moaning i'm not i'm 100% behind lennon now but i don't thnk long term he will be the answer and i'm not looking for a debate on that just people's views.

Said it months ago, he's the best we can get.

He's a winner and will win trophies.

I give him 2 years, possibly 3.

Agree wae sd he will be in charge for 5 years and he will win at least half of the titles and will do the double at least 3 times. He will be a sucessful manager and will move to the epl much like his mentor saint martin.

OK - My on the record statement is that I feel that the board have gone for the easy / cheap option. I would have wanted us to have set the bar much higher but that is perhaps unrealistic. Success or failure - hmmmmm - I think it will all depend completely on what the manky mob do - if the worst rangers team in history can win back to back leagues then there is no predicting or explaining Scottish football.
I am not turning cartwheels over the appointment but I will support him as ever. Mowbray also got support for long enough.

I still however feel though that the blame for last year should have been lain higher than just Mowbray - TM's name wasnt on the cheques signed - he was sanctioned to make an arse of our club. Reid and Lawwell should count themselves lucky men to still be in a job with us - yet again no real ambition from those who really control the purse strings.

id go along with everything DC has just said. it was inevitable lenny was gettin the job . im no more confidant now than i was this time last year , but like mowbray he will have my full support. if the manky mob get sold , and bring in some players , i reckon lenny will struggle and might even be gone this time next year. i hope not for lennys sake. im not usually one to have a swipe at the board , but there is something about lawell and reid i dont like.

He'll win us trophies - loadsa them.

Got the MON mentality - don't expect too much pretty football but expect his team to run over the majority of SPL teams. Physical but effective I think.

I think he will be a success.

Agree with BW that it may not be pretty but he will create a physical team capable of bullying teams.

I expect an up and down season, probably with very little European football BUT I think we will win the league.

I back him to be a success, he'll be in the job for years and years.
