Celtic vs Aberdeen [Match Thread 9-0]

    Celtic vs Aberdeen 06/11/2010
    Celtic Park - 15:00 KO

    Aberdeen: Last 5 Matches:
    St. Mirren 2 - 1 Aberdeen L
    Aberdeen 4 - 2 Hibernian W
    Aberdeen 0 - 1 Hearts L
    Inverness CT 2 - 0 Aberdeen L
    Aberdeen 2 - 3 Rangers L

    W1 D0 L4

Seems as though Mutley has had a poor start to the season with Aberdeen, currently they are sitting at 8th position in the SPL W3 D1 L6. I think Aberdeen are there for the taking this saturday, they really are quite poor and we should be more than capable. They seem to be struggling away from home after being defeated by argueably the poorest team in the league (St Mirren). However, they show they can do it when the occassion calls as Rangers found out when the visited pittodrie. Lennon must be cautious because the sheep are always game for a go at the old firm. However, i'm confident we can press them and put a few in the net. I'll go for 2-0 Celtic.

Aberdeen are a team we really should not be struggling against at home. Start on Saturday like we have done in the last 2 games and we'll be laughing.

Having a wee stop off at Bairds post match as well which has been long overdue

Feeling okay bout this one, want to see stokes and samaras getting among the goals, and one of ki's free kicks has gotta go in eventually.

    4-1 Celtic.

True. He seems to be getting closer and closer. However, if he doesn't score one, I'm happy for it to lead to a goal like St. Johnstone midweek.

    Forster
    Wilson Rogne Dan Izaguirre
    McGinn Ledley Ki Maloney* Samson
    Stokes

*Providing Maloney's fit of course. If not then chuck Juarez into the middle or Pat behind Stokes.

Gary Hooper returns for Celtic after retuning from a metatarsal injury, while captain Shaun Maloney should be fit after recovering from illness.

New signing Olivier Kapo won't feature while Daryl Murphy and James Forrest continue their recovery from injuries.
