Read this in today's paper. I admit i'm not bang up to date with the epl but is it not the general consensus that anton ferdinand is rubbish?

i know , i'd be happy taking them if they could shine for a whole season , most of our players can't shine for a whole game

Don't follow much of the ol' Sunderland games so not sure of Anto. Know doubt he's better than what we have, however we shouldn't be signing players on this basis.

Anytime I've seen Sunderland Ferdinand has been playing so this is a non starter, especially since they paid 10m for him. He'd be miles better than what we have tho
