| It is with great sadness that Celtic Football Club confirmed this morning that Tommy Burns has passed away. Tommy, a true Celtic Legend and wonderful man will be sadly missed by us all. Our thoughts are with Tommy's wife Rosemary and his family. On 29 March 2006, Celtic confirmed Burns has begun treatment for skin cancer. On 10 March 2008, Celtic announced that Burns was facing another skin cancer scare, and would be undergoing further treatment for the disease. Sadly Tommy's condition deteriorated and he passed away on the morning of May 15th 2008, he was 51 years old. God bless you Tommy Burns. The Celtic family will hold you in our hearts forever ![]() Zamasbhoy Last edited by Rebelbhoy1888; 15-05-2008 at 12:13 PM. |
