Ridiculous Rumors

With the lack of movement on the transfer front there are all sorts of rumors taking shape in cyberspace on both sides of Glasgow. I appreciate the need for something to have a chin wag about but the rumors that have been doing the rounds for the past 24 hours are slightly depressing and for once I really do hope they are rumors. Bring back the over the top Darren Bent rumors.

First up – Shaun Maloney is at Ibrox as we speak for a fitness test or at least he was yesterday, rangers must be doing some extra tests on him to make sure he’s still not Celtic minded and won’t throw games the way that season ticket holder and staunch Celtic supporter Eddie Smith did. Maloney is supposedly part of the King Ugly deal.

Celtic are about to enter a “bidding war” for Cardiff City defender Glenn Loovens with Rangers. Celtic are supposedly offering Derek Riordan while Rangers are offering Boyd to bring down the 2.5m pound price tag.

Ally McCoist has apparently had enough of the car boot sale that’s going on at Rangers and doesn’t want any association with the current CRISIS that’s taking place at Govan. Ally reportedly dropped his tools yesterday, left the doom and gloom and walked off into the sunset.

Following McCoist could be rangers shot stopper Alan McGregor. Arsenal and Newcastle are both looking to sign the keeper for a similar fee to King uglies.

The most realistic transfer is the one involving Steven Davis to return to Ibrox after Murray promised Walt all the proceeds from the King ugly transfer, how long before Celtic look to sabotage this deal by entering the race to sign Davis?

Oh brother, roll on the 1st of September.

That was as bad as a steve davis joke

I hear Fulham has black balled any notion of davis leaving the club

Rangers have been told they will have to get on the cue if they want to sign him

Now look what you have started
