JVOH and Maloney just because I like a tall striker playing along side a smaller fast striker, and those two are the best we have IMO.

On current form it's got to be Maloney and Samaras purely for how they linked up against Falkirk. McDonald and Jan know what it's all about though and have scored us some good goals against them Orcs. Think they always struggle against Jan up top.

Doubt we'll have all 4 fit for most of the season though so the top line will probably pick itself that way.

Sammy and JVOH for me. JVOH can make things akward for defenders and Samaras has the pace to trouble defenders. Mc Donald has been shite so far in both pre-season and league games so IMO he deserves to be benched, if he wasnt injured ofcourse. As for maloney think he could play just in behind Samaras and JVOH and do a good job

I voted McDonald and Maloney. I Have not seen how they would link up together so this is sort of a guess. To be honest any of the four combinations would work! The reason I choose these 2 is because with Maloneys vision for a good pass and mcdonalds speed I think they would work well. and notch up a good few goals.

as much as i like JVOF he is just lazy, he is good for putting in the long balls or getting in a cross into the box. I always thought Mcdonald was quicker than Samaras??

Tall guy v Fall guy

Given that Kilmarnock have started well, it seems likely our defence will be under pressure at times. This in turn means many punts up the park from Tefal heid. If this is the case I'd rather big Sammi & big Jan to win the ball or a free kick. Skippy doesn't win as many fre kicks as he used to and the resultant huff makes him as useful as a catflap on an aeroplane.
On the other hand if he plays Crosas then it hardly matters: he'll get the ball to the man with the best options.......But who to play at left back?
BTW why is WGS always writing his homework when the game is in play? If he doesn't know the tactics how the feck can he expect the players to know?
Changing horses mid-stream is always a bit risky.
