Villareal Ace Wary of Celtic

Villareal ace Robert Pires today claimed that the Spanish team weren’t favourite to take second place in their champions league group which has seen put them up against the English, Scottish and Danish champions.

Pires admitted Manchester United were favourites to take the group “ United are the best team in the world right now, they will be favourites to win the group, the rest of us will be fighting for second place”. While he admitted that, he was coy on talk that Villareal were a dead cert to get to the last 16. The ex Arsenal player sees Celtic as a big threat to Villareals progression and he assured the clubs supporters the team were taking nothing for granted.

Group E has really produced some mouth watering ties including the ‘Battle of Britain’ between the Scottish and English Champions. The last two times Celtic and Manchester Utd got together it produced two breathtaking matches with both teams winning a game. If those games were anything to go by then we can expect another two very memorable games this time around.

Good team Villareal. Remember watching Pires and Villareal pumping Barcelona last year, scary stuff it was.

I'd be more wary of Pires, he's a diving cheat

To be fair, he is French and learned well at Arsenal. No one is too surprised about that.

It's their sitting defensive midfielder Senna I think is their key man. He could really stop us getting 3 points at parkhead.

Tickets and info Villareal

Hello lads, If someone needs tickets for the Villareal away match just drop me an e-mail, I have plenty available for the home section through a Spanish associate of me for € 150,- , a lot cheaper than at the ticketshops world wide.

If you need more info regarding the city and how to get there, just drop me an e-mail: piair@voetbalbookmaker.com * My ex bird is from that area, and I use to go there quite often.

Villareal will be a tough game, especially with the away leg being the first of the ties.
With that in mind they might beat us in Valencia but as i've said before it's the last game that'll be the decider against them at CP where we have the obvious advantage and that's where the 2nd place decider will be.
