Thread: Transfer Window and ZZ

We hoped for a final day flurry, but the day ended with a whimper. We were encouraged by the fact Tony Mowbray was delaying his trip to Canada to try and do some wheeling and dealing. Celticforum.net did report on a transfer that in the end didn’t go through. Instead we heard that the China captain was on his way to Celtic Park. I hear good things and I’m sure there is a 5 minute montage somewhere on you tube of him strutting his stuff. I remain sceptical till I see this guy in the flesh, after all he has just came from a woeful Charlton side and been injury prone(again this is what I’m hearing). I hope the bhoy proves to be a breath of fresh air but only time will tell.

Is it just me or do you enjoy deadline day better when it goes all the way to midnight. Yes, I know it was put back to 5pm on Tuesday because of the English Bank Holiday but as a football fan I have to say I enjoyed it a whole lot more when it went all the way to midnight. Lets hope the next window will finish at the end of the day.

I look forward to the SPL getting back to business when the International break is over with.

As a Charlton fan I have seen a lot of Zheng and I'm surprised he has not been picked up by a Premiership side. He did well for us in the Premiership and was injured during most of the disasterous last season. I think you'll like him.

ive read that he can be a bit volatile , so the first thing teams will do is dig him and try and wind him up esp elbows mcculloch .

he got banned for 6 months for spitting at a match official , he had to be held back from attacking him . this was when he was younger and playing in china league . i think his team were beaten 7 - 2 .
he also broke gibbril cisse 's leg in the euro champs league .
so opponents better whatch out or he'll probably hong kong fooie theyre ass.

he was a super star when he was in Chalton

he dont want play on the bench for a minute , so he refused most Premiership team .

he injured last year , if he recovered beter he also could be the star here.
