Thread: Mark Hughes the standout choice?

Realistically I think either Guus Hiddink or Roy Hodgson. I'd take Hughes or McLaren though at a push.

McLaren is at Wolfsburg now.

Hodgson is the man to break the bank for regardless if he wins tonight or not.....

The job he's done at Fulham is outstanding.....

If hodgson moves it'll be to a bigger epl team,

I agree m8, but think thats all our board were waiting on, just to see what was happening with o'neil.He was the one man who could guarantee season ticket renewals and a full house every week and bring success again.Cannot blame them for holding off if that was the case.

we have seen what lennon can do 100% league record, ripped the players apart when they embarassed the club against ross county, knows what its about! The guy came in when we needed sum1 to steady the ship and he landed on his feet running.I will pay my £500 to see lenny in charge next season thats for sure.I already believe from what i've seen that he has a huge talent from managing, and could deliver success here.

I fear with any new manager it would take time for him to get going, and to get settled.Maybe be too late by then just like the calamatious mowbray regime.

I would guess lennon will be announced our new manager either tomorrow or friday.Thats my prediction.

we should approach hughes if he says no i'd settle for Lenny, any other names are unrealistic or worse then lennon

I'd be happy with lenny,
the fact that the board are taking so long to make a decision about him might act as a spur for him -
he must know they've been sniffing about all the time he's been hanging on.
