Thread: Lennon - I'll step aside for the very best

i know a lot of people think lenny has as much to offer as levein , but i like levein . i think he could be a good manager .

friendlys??? what a load a nonsence he had to finish 2nd which he did there was also a rangers game in those 8 wins incase u forgot never a friendly,,,,

8 wins from 8 lge games is as good as it gets as for the ross county game every player lets them selves and the club down u can pin all the blame on lennon,,,

aye those 8 games were friendlies to me utter meaningless, i tell you what lennon could have done won the scottish cup. so what if the huns were in those 8 games i went to the 1-1 draw and we played better but didnt win. so for those 8 games that we won you would say lennon got the team fighting but didn't do it in all important game aginst a 1st division team. he probably thought it would be a walkover just like the rest of us and the he was the one who picked the team if you have forgotton. for me i love the guy but i dont want him as my manager cos we cant afford with another inexpirenced manger. how many games in a row did john barnes win before it went tits up? 9 games doesnt make you a manager esp at a team of celtics stature

i get what u are saying but just because lenny is just starting out does not mean that it cant work,,,,,
