Several media outlets this morning are reporting Celtic have been active in their pursuit of new players even though they are still manager-less.

Steven Reid has been targeted by Celtic and it is widely believed that he was on a hit list of players that Neil Lennon drew up. The Republic of Ireland international is out of contract with Blackburn after being loaned out to QPR and West Brom last season and had been a bit part player at Ewood Park following the arrival of Sam Allardyce. The midfielder has been dogged by injuries lately and could be a risk if signed up.
