Former Celtic left back Charlie Mulgrew could be set to snub a move to the Championship to take up a second chance with The Hoops.
It has been reported that Mulgrew was on the verge of finalising a deal with Sheffield United this week but new Celtic manager Neil Lennon has made his interest known to the out of contract defender.
This would certainly be a surprise to many but in today's financial markets and the fact Celtic need 2 left backs fighting for the position next season, surely signing the ex bhoy makes good sense.
Mulgrew showed promise in his first spell at the Club having successful loan stints in the process but on a tour of America he and Aiden McGeady were fined by then boss Gordon Strachan for turning up late. There was a resulting spat between him and the Wee Scot and he was subsequently sold to Wolves.
