CELTIC have a chance to put the Motherwell game behind them tonight when they take on Rangers in the Scottish Cup. The usual drivel from the papers has surrounded this game with Kyle Bartley or is it Bratley, well something like that says that the Rangers players are gunning for Scott Brown. Our captain no doubt getting a chuckle from the on loan Arsenal players words.
A win means advancement in the Scottish Cup, but it also hands a big boost to the team who wins. A Rangers win would see the usual suspects in the media salivating over the thought of another Rangers league and cup triumph. A win for Celtic would put to rest any doubts that were raised against Motherwell on Sunday.
Lennon will stick to the tried and tested tonight although he will be without his first choice goalkeeper and influential midfielder Joe Ledley who are both suspended for this game. Ledley is a big loss for Celtic, he may not provide the attacking spark but he wins balls in key areas and it will be important for whoever replaces him to do the same. Mark Wilson is also a doubt and with Cha already injured Juarez may get the nod.
It's up to the Celtic players tonight to go out and get their momentum back. If they play like they have in the last 3 meetings then we are sure to win. If we play like we did Sunday, get ready for a long night.
